At club meetings in communities across the globe, our people of action come together to strengthen their connections to friends and neighbors and their commitment to improving lives. We’re looking for people who want to give back to their communities and make a difference in the world. Rotarians say, “I came for the business and the “Service Above Self” and I stayed for the fellowship and friendships I have made over the years.
How Can I Become A Member?
Clubs accept new members by invitation. To help us find the right club for you, we’ll ask you a few questions about yourself and your interests. Then we’ll share your answers with Rotary leaders in your community who will match you with a club.
We encourage you attend at least two Club meetings prior to submitting your membership application for consideration. Shortly after submitting your membership application, you will be contacted by a President to arrange an meeting to discuss any questions you may have about the merits of joining the Club.
Your membership application will then be passed on to the board of Directors, and announced at the club level for approval. The approval process will take approximately four to six weeks.

Corporate Membership
Through this initiative the Rotary Club of Mississauga is acknowledging the growing importance that corporations place on Corporate Social Responsibility so it is for this reason that our club has created a Corporate Membership. It is our belief that we could achieve significantly greater community impact by getting entire corporations involved as Corporate Members. Allowing local organizations to:
- Utilize the structure and organized system of Rotary as a way of delivering their corporate social responsibility.
- Benefit from the leadership development and social engagement that Rotary offers to Company executive and their teams.
- Rotary will provide your corporation an opportunity to learn about community and global needs in a variety of areas, and to act on those needs in a way that truly benefits the recipients.
- Membership will offer an increased awareness of the corporation and its individual members within the community through association with Rotary and the many programs that are supported by Rotary Club of Mississauga.
- If you are travelling, you are entitled to attend any Rotary meeting in any country. This will provide you with the opportunity to make business connections that could be beneficial to all concerned.
