On Saturday March 28th Rotary Club of Mississauga was invited to the Shining Lighte Youth Charity (SLYC) gala at the Marigold Convention Centre. Lorraine Crow Director of RCOM Community Service Committee, presented Shining Lighte Youth Charity founder Kandice Henry, with a cheque in support of their programming and Scholarships. 
Mayor Patrick Brown, Mississauga Councillor Martin Reid, Peel Police Community Liaisons and BoD Chair, Len Carby were in Attendance with many other community leaders. 
 
The Shining Lighte Youth Charity provides education with targeted strategic support that is transformative to the community and to the youth it serves.
