The Rotary Club of Mississauga provided $2,000 to support expensive hospital parking needs for Mississauga families.
Letter from The Parking Foundation:
Dearest Rotary Club of Mississauga members:
On behalf of the families we serve, thank you so very much to you, the Board, and the members of the Rotary Club of Mississauga for approving the $2,000 grant to support expensive hospital parking needs for Mississauga families. This generous support is truly meaningful, and we are deeply grateful for your confidence in our work.
We are working closely with OPAAC – Ontario Parents Advocating for Children with Cancer. Through this partnership, we have already been able to support Mississauga families whose children are undergoing cancer treatment at Credit Valley Hospital with purchasing parking passes.
The families supported require assistance over an extended and demanding treatment period, and the relief from parking costs has an immediate and tangible impact during one of the most stressful times of their lives. As the need continues to grow and OPAAC has requested additional funding to support families, this Rotary grant is arriving at exactly the right time and will ensure that Mississauga families can continue to receive this vital support without interruption.
We are incredibly thankful for your kindness, leadership, and commitment to supporting families in our community. The Rotary Club of Mississauga’s generosity is already making a real difference, and we are honored to have your support.
Please extend my sincere thanks to all the Rotary members, and I will be happy to share links to our website and social media posts once announced.
Warm regards,
