Rotary Club of Mississauga supports the Youth Empowerment And Resource Capacity program delivered my Mississauga’s Citizens For The Advancement of Community Development.
(CACD) is a Black-led charitable organization that creates free programs designed to empower BIPOC youth ages 10–24 in the Peel Region. From academic tutoring and leadership training to life skills and mental health support, we provide young people with the tools and safe spaces they need to reach their full potential.
The youth program, supported by Rotary, is multi faceted, training in financial literacy, career development, leadership skills, health and safety and more.
Founder Ron Cunningham through CACD has been delivering programming to over 500 underserved youth from 10-24 for 20+ years in Mississauga.
