Rotary Club of Mississauga International Service Committee proudly supports Health Outreach for their Guatemala 2024 project for $5,000. This support enabled Health Outreach to reach hundreds of children in underserviced areas to improve their dental health and quality of lives.

Health Outreach is a registered charity with a 21 history of helping communities globally that are experiencing economic, social, and environmental issues with diverse and marginalized people, providing free dental and medical services. Dr. Timothy Lee is the founder of this organization and is a dentist practicing, in Streetsville, Mississauga, Ontario. Dr. Lee traveled with his team of 32 Volunteers including medical pediatricians, working in 4 regions of Guatemala in 2023 and this grant will support a similar project in 2024. The Rotary Club of Mississauga supported two successful dental missions to Guatemala in January and February 2024.

The ISC grant for $5,000 will be used for dental and medical supplies, instruments, medication, and PPE and will enhance the lives of many underserviced families in Guatemala.

Thank you Dr. Lee for coming to our lunch meeting on February 4th and answering questions regarding your project and essential work in Guatemala.
