At the Rotary Club of Mississauga, every fundraising event we host and every dollar raised goes directly back into empowering and supporting our local community. Thanks to the dedication, generosity, and hard work of our members and supporters, the RCOM Board of Directors has officially approved 10 new community grants proposed by our Community Assistance Committee.
These approved funds will directly aid vital local initiatives, including:
Mental Health & Youth Services:
Supporting grief counselling through the Center for Grief and Healing, anti-bullying programs with SafeCity Mississauga, and youth suicide prevention initiatives with Liberty for Youth.
Essential Support for Students:
Providing emergency basic needs—like backpacks, school supplies, and winter clothing—for underserviced youth through The Peel Learning Foundation.
Healthcare & Senior Care:
Backing specialized in-home care for dementia patients with Acclaim Health and supporting healthcare infrastructure through the Trillium Health Hazel McCallion Walk for Health.
Inclusion, Arts & Culture:
Funding Special Olympics Motionball Mississauga, sponsoring Indigenous Residential School Survivor speakers at The Eagle Spirits of the Great Waters art exhibition, supporting housing initiatives with Indwell Community Homes, and bringing live music to the community with Visual Arts Mississauga.

As members, we should all take great pride in seeing the direct results of our collective efforts. It is through our joint participation—whether organizing events, volunteering time, or making direct contributions—that we are able to step up for causes that matter most.
RCOM’s support of community events not only lifts up our community but your attendance at these events gives us a chance to promote Rotary to thousands of residents encapsulating a diverse audience. The more people know about Rotary, the more members we will have, strengthening our club and our mission of Service Above Self.
Let’s keep this incredible momentum going!
Thank you to everyone who continues to support, participate, and contribute to our local initiatives. Together, we are building a stronger, more compassionate Mississauga.
